Changing crib sheets and bumpers. . .Vent

This issue has been buggin the crappola out of me since the beginning but last night really put me over the edge. I know the crib mattress is supposed to be snug and have no gaps but honestly, unless I untie every friggin section of the bumpers, I cannot get the mattress out of the crib to change the sheets. Does anyone else have this issue or do I have a defective mattress or something? It really was an issue last night because it was the first time I had to change the sheets at night because DS spit up all over them. So, I had to put DS in the swing...then he starts crying....me untying bumpers....trying to jimmy the mattress out of the crib.... me cursing up a storm and all this at 2:30 a.m. and DH in the next room snoring his darn head off...Chat Icon

you gotta get one of those zip sheets or the ultimate crib sheet-- you can pull those off without removing the bumper.

I can't get the regular crib sheets off without it being a whole big production. It's a major PITA.

Yes, the zip sheets are so easy to change!!

But, I didn't really have a problem pulling up the mattress b/c I have the Breathable Bumpers that velco on so it seems pretty easy to remove the mattress anyway.

I used the Ultimate Crib Sheet and it made changing the bed so easy. I took the bumpers out when she started standing in the crib but kept using the ultimate crib sheet. Now that DD is older and able to yank the Ultimate Crib sheet off (but still in crib) and I'm only changing her bed once a week I've stopped using the Ultimate Crib Sheet and miss how easy changing her bed was.

I just put the bumpers back on their bed like a month ago (took them off when they were first born) and I went to change the sheets and couldn't get the mattress out. I was like 'huh'? I tried everything and still couldn't do it. So I untied all the bumpers changed the sheets and retied them back on. I seriously can't believe each time I change the girls sheets its a 30 minute process, ridiculous!!! Let's see how long the bumpers stay on!

I have been using the UCS since Andrew was a baby. I love them!!!!!! I don't even have to move the bumpers, mattress or crib!
