changing dogs food

I wanted to change my dogs food to a cheaper brand since we are struggling a lil right now. Is this safe? How do I go about doing it?

It's perfectly fine to change your dog's food but they might have a reaction to it at first if they have a sensitive stomach. Ask your vet if the brand you want to buy is ok for them.

When you do the switch you'll have to phase it in a little at a time combining some old food with the new. Every time you feed your dog you'll use less of the old and more of the new. When we changed Kasey from Purina to Beneful we did this over the course of 2 weeks, just to give you an idea of a timeline.
