I’m currently just past 20 weeks and looking for a midwife to go to for my prenatal care and birth. If you have a midwife or a doctor with associated midwives you love, please share their info with me. NYC & Nassau only, please.

Re: Changing practices at 20+ weeks – recommendations, please!

I changed at 30 weeks (moved OOS) and I found it very hard to find a practice that would accept me that late.

My OB didn't think twice (didn't even consider it) and I LOVE my MW (She's not the typical MW - she has an edge)

Dr Eysler OB
Marge Priola NP
in Hicksville (Plainview)

400 South Oyster Bay Road Suite 106
Hicksville, NY, 11801
(516) 937-3881

great individual care - small office...and I had my kids on my OB's anniversay, got mastitis the first day of his vacation and #2 was born on his birthday - they were there every step of the way!

I changed at 22+ weeks pregnant and had no issues. I live in Suffolk so I can' make a recommendation (I went with Stony Brook Midwives).
