Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
Please excuse my ignorance - I am trying to make sense of all this!
I will be living in a 1br apt for the first 3 mos so I am trying to maximize space. I am registering for the Graco Pack n Play that has the Bassinet and Changing table and plan to use this for the baby to sleep in for the first few months. What I was wondering was how functional is the changing table? Could I rely on this attachment as my sole changing table or should I still plan to get one.
Thank you soooo much

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
it works great, but you do want to check the weight/height limit on the changing tray. The bassinett is high enough that you can change on that too....
plus there is always the bed or the couch!

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
Its definitely fine for the beginning...I never really used the changing table past the newborn phase..and never even had one with the twins...so if space is a big concern I wouldnt get one...
I will have the same type of pack n play for the newborn period but after that I wont get another changing table.

I agree about the height thing...we have a changing towere in the baby's room but I find myself using the one on the pack and play exclusively....backache and all

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
Mine worked great. I didn't use it as my primary changing table, but if I had to use it as my primary one, I would not have a problem with it. It is really convenient, and is perfectly safe as long as you follow the weight limitations.

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
I used the pack and play as my primary changing table (since we had it downstairs in my living room) for about 1 year--so for me, *definitely* worth it!!!!

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
I love it. I haven't even used my real changing table yet. Our current house is multi-level and it is way easier to just use that one.
I *believe* the weight limit 10lbs and 15 lbs for the bassinett part.

Re: Changing Table on Pack n Play - Question for BTDT moms
Mine had the bassinet changing table, it was my lifesaver since I have a bi level home.
I used the bassinet part/changing table til she was about 4-5 months old.
Graco weight limits are 15 lbs for bassinet and 25 lbs for changing table part.
