Changing vaccine schedule.
We switched docs and she only give 2 shots at a time. I'd like to go down to only one. Does anyone have a vaccination schedule they can share that I can use to talk to my doc?

Re: Changing vaccine schedule.
I just space out the shots. I only allow one injection per visit. Sometimes they will have me come in 2 weeks later and other times will just wait until the next months appointment. I delayed the chickenpox and hep b until around when they were starting school since those are req'd but I don't think really necessary.

Changing vaccine schedule.
I also space mine out. In between her well visits we go in for the remainder of her shots from the well visit.

Changing vaccine schedule.
Just tell them. We do 2 at a time so sometimes we come back a week or two later.

Re: Changing vaccine schedule.
I don't change the schedule but we missed one appt and then when we caught up it was like 5 shots and I said no way to many so i had to go between appt. I didn't realize it but I got charged copay b/c I changed it. Just wanted to let you know you may get charged. That would be a lot of money over the year to space them out 1 at a time. I'm not saying to not space them out, whatever you are comfortable with, but just that you may get charged.

Changing vaccine schedule.
I used the CDC Chart.. it has a 'range' of age not a 'get it at this time and this time only' So I stayed within the ranges. Just spread it out.

Double check with your insurance company because you shouldn't be getting charged a copay for these visits.

depends.. mine limits the number per calendar year. I mentioned before i had to pay for a shot because the year before I gave it to her on the 26 instead of her bday of the 22nd 4 days and I had to pay. After 2 the number of visits dropped for us.
