changing your pet's food
i just changed Miller's (our cat) food... i started him on Wellness brand weight loss food. i know you are supposed to mix the new food in with his old food in little by little so his stomach gets used to it.....
but my question is - how long do i do this for before i can just start feeding him the new food by itself? i just started incorporating the new food sunday.... i usually feed him 1/2 a cup in the morning and 1/2 cup of food at night

A week to ten days usually -- Slowly decrease the amount of the old food and increase the amount of the new food over the course of a week to two weeks.

Yup, I agree! When we switched our cat's food, I followed these instructions and it worked well:
