charlotte's web.. what grade level?

Hi!
I'm a new speech therapist at a school, and i bought a book with language activities to go along with the book charlotte's web. i'm just curious if anyone knows about what grade level this book would be good for? i have students in all grades, so i'm just trying to figure out which ones to use it with. thanks!

Re: charlotte's web.. what grade level?

In my school, it is a core book (part of the curriculum of books that must be read) for FOURTH graders. my kids (speech-impaired, processing and language impaired, not articulation) needed extra support with this book when they were in 4th grade.

I am sure you did this as a read-aloud. I doubt that many second graders could read this on their own.

Re: charlotte's web.. what grade level?

I would say it's a 3rd-4th functioning level, unless highly modified and depending on the specific areas of language impairment (another SLP here).
