Charting questions..
I am charting for the first time this month and am noticing that post-o that my temps are all over. They should all be above 98, but I am noticing some fall way below that. Also, I am noticing some light brown spotting today (only when I wipe). It's only 8dpo. I have a 30-31 day cycle.
After seeing this chart, I am feeling like my progesterone level seems low and luteal phase is short. Should'nt my LP be at least 10 days long?
If I were to have the two above problems, is it an easy fix? Please fill me in on anything you may know about this.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Charting questions..
LP should be at least 10 days long or there is a potential problem for implantation.
As for post O temps being higher than 98 - mine never are.
At 8DPO with some brown spotting could potentially be implantation or just something you noticed for the first time because you're TTC and paying attention to every little thing.

Re: Charting questions..
I had a temp dip yesterday at 7 DPO and I started reading that a temp dip can occur in the middle of your LP due to a change in hormones or as an indication of implantation.
Your LP needs to be at least 10 days long, if you notice it is any less you should call you dr. and ask what you can do. Mine has only been 11 days so I did a little research and apparently taking a B6 supplement can help lengthen your LP. I will let you know if it works!

Unless I am doing something wrong, I am pretty certain I oed..
CD16 my temp was really low 96.9. The next three days after that my temps went up to 98.2 and above. After that third day, they started to go all over the place...were'n't consistently high..

Re: Charting questions..
Thanks girls. I will see if the spotting goes away. But, it is very normal for me to spot before AF. I know it usually happens three or four days before she comes..starts out as I described and then gets more noticeable...
I will def. try the b6 vitamins if it doesn't go away..
Wouldn't it be nice if it was implantation spotting, but I doubt it..

Re: Charting questions..
erratic temps after O could mean a progesterone deficiency and spotting definitely can indicate that as well. Try taking vitamin B 6 and 12 that should help-it did for me.

Thanks for the info! For the most part, is this a common problem?
