Cheapo stroller rave

I needed a new small stroller but didn't want to spend a lot. It's my last child and he's almost 2 yrs old so after owning 4 different strollers over my kids' stroller years including a $300 one and a double stroller, I decided to try this one. $40 (less with a coupon) and it works great. I was hesitant even at $40 bc it got some bad reviews but since I first thought about it, I kept seeing people with it everywhere and was asking if they liked it. Everyone was telling me they really liked it. It's not a luxury stroller but is pretty darn good for the price. Parent tray, kid tray, reclines enought to nap, nice size underbasket, easy to manuever, small enough to go in tight spaces, easy open & close. I'm very happy with it. I wouldn't recommend it for smaller babies as the kid tray is up kind of high (sort of weirdly so and I'm not sure why) and a smaller baby might slide forward but for a baby over a year or so, esp a toddler like mine, it's perfect. It's a Baby Trend Trendsport Lite

I love baby trend products. I have the Snap-N-Go that was great & the Car seat. It got top reviews and was $75.00 Chat Icon

Re: Cheapo stroller rave

For those that didn't like it, what was it about it that wasn't good?

I definitely wouldn't call it the Rolls Royce of strollers but I was shocked that so many people disliked it in the reviews as well. I thought it might be a PITA with a child in it and out walking around with it (they always feel nice and smooth with no one in it and rolling it around the store) but my DS is 30 lbs and it handles great. At this stage, I like the ease and price of it. But I like a cupholder for both of us and big basket too.

We have the jeep version of it. We bought it for Walt Disney World when I was pregnant because it folds up super tiny, has the snack tray, saddle bags, reclined abit..etc.. and my son hates stroller but we knew he would want it for late evenings at WDW. Ours was about 40 bucks at Walmart. Dh thought I was crazy buying it but this picture says it all... especially for a kid who hated strollers.

We have used it a few times for my 5 month old because she is in her roundabout now. I love that it folds up small..

I had it too and ultimately wouldn't recommend it. I loved the basket and the cup holder and snack tray...and the price Chat Icon Otherwise, I felt the seat was pitched forward too much and DD kept sliding forward and looked really uncomfortable. Also, the wheel or the axle or something broke and I could no longer turn it...after about 4 months?

Hey, for $40, I'd consider it. I like that it has a tray and a basket, something my Chicco (which I love too) doesn't have. Thanks for the post.
