Congrats Babydreams!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Went for progesterone blood work this morning.
I just got the call that it is low (6.5) so I have to start the suppositories tonight.

Didn't have to use them the last time, any tips, things to avoid?

Trying to not read into any signs but I have been so exhausted the past 2 days. I fell asleep on the couch at 7:45 last night.

TIA.

You want to get that number to 20 or above. Will you be on suppositories twice daily? I'm on Crinone and PIO. At transfer it was 15 and that was with 1ml PIO and 2 suppositories. They upped my PIO to 1.5. I put in the Crinone while I'm driving to work since I drive like 30 minutes minimum and then I put it in again at bedtime. I just shove it as far as the plunger will go. Wear a liner for sure and go to the bathroom to clean up often. It comes out randomly. I like Crinone better than Endometrin. That one leaks more in my opinion. Being tired can be a good sign. I'm shot but I wasn't sure if it was pregnancy related or meds related. When is beta?

I
Thanks for the info, I have to do the endometrium 2x a day. Beta is on the 27th.

So that one is like a huge tic-tac that you use the plunger to get up there. You will leak on that one. I had wet spots on my pants even with a liner. Wear black pants!Go to the bathroom to wipe frequently.

I found out last week about the embryo. Had 6 to test, one normal. Thankful but disappointed. I retrieved 17 first cycle came down to 3. Then second cycle retrieved 28 came down to 3.
Period should be here next week.

I understand your disappointment. Its crazy how they dwindle down. With my son's cycle I had 15 still going on day 3. By day 5 not many still going. One resulted in my son and I only had one to freeze. The frozen one was a miscarriage. So 1 out of 15 embryos were good. Its insane how we lose so many. I hope that 1 is your ONE. They say it only takes one and sometimes I hate hearing that but its so true. Fingers crossed for you.

I'm in the TWW...period due 7/3. I called and made an appt. with Dr. San Roman. The earliest appt they have for new patient isn't until 8/8 so that's when I'm going...bummed I need to wait 7 weeks.

He has been my RE for 3 years now. Don't take me being unsuccessful as an example (my ex husband had a lot of issues with male factor). Dr. San Roman is worth the wait. He is such a kind RE. He knows his stuff, his staff is wonderful and you always get the same nurse. If you have any questions please PM me, I would be happy to answer any questions you have. Now I'm off to call his office because AF decided to show up this morning. Ugh.

Thank you so much for replying. The women I spoke with when booking the appt. was super nice. Does he do an exam first visit or is it just basically going over medical history and bloodwork?

I hope you get your baby soon!Chat Icon Chat Icon

Thank you! I'll be back in there tomorrow morning. The first visit you just go over all your medical history, he does bloodwork and than he will send you for some preliminary tests and will want your DH to get a SA. If you have had any testing done before bring the results with you. He's VERY thorough. Good luck! Fingers crossed for you!

Can you try calling weekly to see if there are any cancellations? People cancel all the time!
