Check out the cake I just made!
I made this cake for my son's 5th birthday party tomorrow. It's a safari themed birthday, so of course I needed to make the King of the jungle!
I never "decorated" a cake before. I'm more crafty with pen and paper.
I had to do this totally freestyle because when I took the cake out of the pan...THE FACE RIPPED OFF!!! There went my outline.
Every year I always buy a cake, but I remembered that my mom always made my cakes. I thought this would be a little more special.
DS loves it, so I'm pleased with the way it came out!  Image Attachment(s):

I hope it tastes good! I'm sure Pauline (rose825) will tell you if it didn't. 
My son's actual 5th birthday is Tuesday, but the big party is today (in about 2 hours) !!
