Chevy Traverse
Anyone have any reviews of these?
I'm thinking of getting one.
I will obviously test drive, etc., but I was wondering if anyone had feedback.
TIA!

Re: Chevy Traverse
this is so weird...I've been traumatized ever since you told me you were thinking about getting a mini-van (j/k) and was going to recommend you look at the Traverse.
ETA - traumatized because I think you need 4WD or AWD --- not because it is a minivan.

Re: Chevy Traverse
I drove the Traverse when we were looking for a car. To me, it does drive more like a truck than the Buick Enclave. The enclave is the same frame, just styled a little differently. The Enclave was nicer imo.

Re: Chevy Traverse
Is that the one where on tv the football guy is always comparing it to another vehicle and showing the faults of the other vehicle?
I think that it is nice looking but have no facts about it.

Re: Chevy Traverse
i love the body of it - the chevy traverse, buick enclave, gmc acadia, and saturn outlook all have the same platform.
that's going to be our next new car when we're ready to buy :)

I have the Buick Enclave! LOVE it! It is a little heavy on the gas being a 6 cyl., but it's such a nice ride, soooo quiet, and lots of nice features. No experience with the Traverse though.

Re: Chevy Traverse
I don't have experience with the Traverse, but I just got the 2010 Equinox, it's little 'sister' and I love it!!! It's so fun to drive and I feel so pampered in in after driving my 1996 Saturn for the last 13 years. I got the FWD 4 Cyl. because of the milage (23 city and 32 highway) and it's got plenty of pep.

We have one on order, just waiting for it to come in, I am so excited, we have grown out of my car completely!

Re: Chevy Traverse
what color did you order? I had no choice (got it used as a dealer demo), but if I could have picked, I wanted the red jewel tone.

Originally I wanted Blue-they don't make it in that color anymore. So then I wanted a dark red-they don't make it in the color I want. I don't like Brown or white. And I didn't want to see scratches on black. So we got silver with black interior.

Re: Chevy Traverse
We bought our Traverse last November and I really love it. Its much better on gas then the truck we had prior and there is a ton of room!!
My only complaint is the room I have behind the drivers seat now.. since having baby #2 my 3 year old is behind me and my seat cant go as far back as I would like. I am tall though.. about 5'8 so that might not be a problem for most.
Over all its a great vehicle!! I love Chevys!
