SCION XB - Chevy HHR
Anyone here own either car? My lease is up on my civic soon and I am looking into getting 1 of these cars next. I have always liked Strange cars, and of course Danielle doesnt like either....She has her 2006 Kia Sportage that she loves and drives......so hopefully I will be able to get a car that I love too.
My friend and his brother both have the Chevy HHR and they love theirs, anyone else here own one?
What about the Scion....

we test drove the HHR....i think the car was made poorly as there is poor visiablity out of the front glass and has bad blind spots. it was an ook ride.
We owned 2 toyota before leaving them (Echo, Matrix) and its a solid car. The xA is like a smaller matrix. xB..well seems kinda boxxey but can be fun to drive. I would rather own a tC
Those are the only 2 cars your looking at?

I am looking at a few others - Like I said I like odd cars -
I also like the Kia Spectra 5
Honda fit - but may be too small
and there is a possibility I may get another Sportage but a 2007

You should check out the new caliber it is nice and they have some funky colors and options which are already included. We rented the HHR on a trip it is good on gas mileage and drove nice, but the head room is non existent and I am only 5'4".

Um thanks so much for that assumption, I have an Xb and I love it. 34 MPG & it has great pick-up for a 4 cylinder. It also has a ton of room inside, moreso than you'd think. I can fit my friend in the back who is 6' 7" and I do not need to move my seat up when he gets into the car.
But thanks for your opinion on a car you don't own
ETA:I was also looking at the HHR, but it did not have as much room inside the seatinga rea, but it did have a larger cargo area. I think I liked the ride better on the XB

Yes, it was the headroom (or lack thereof) that made the car feel smaller inside.

I like the front of the dodge caliber, but not the side or the rear, and the fact that its a Chrysler Product - no offence to anyone that owns a Chrysler. I just never had lucj with their cars.

I have a silver 2004. It was actually the 1st one sold on LI  If I had to get a new one, I think I'd get it in orange. It is actually pretty hot in orange.

Hmmm thay used to. They were carrying the orange for a while at Atlantic Toyota. The other colour I like is the dark blue.
It appears as though they have changed the colours. I am sorry. They nolonger have the orange, nor do they have the black cherry. They do now have a fiesta red that looks kinda hot.

Thats what I love about the Scion. Even with the front seat all the way back, there is still a ton of room in the back.
Danielle thinks it is sooo ugly.....I love it though. I havent driven it yet, so who knows if I will like the way it drives....
I gotta go for a test drive. I wonder if there are any lease specials on it

Ha! I just edited my post as you were posting this
The only reason I would not get the White is I think you might be washing it constantly. The only downside being that close to the ground is that the wheel wells do get quite dirty, even from the smallest puddle.

We already have a white kia sportage and I love the fact that the color is so easy to clean - Too bad they dont make the XB in a light silver......I would like that....
