I know a lot of people love the Traverse. I am going to the dealership today. Can you share what your lease price is and your terms—mileage/year, money down, etc. TIA!!

I see it all over the road now. It has a third row?

My dad has one (actually 2) and I would not recommend this car. He seems to have had a decent number of issues with them.
It does have a third row, but it is a TIGHT fit for car seats and adults.

We're currently SUV shopping, have to turn in my Highlander , so we've been looking at so many options. I agree with you, although decent looking we have not come across great reviews for the Traverse. Seems like they have some reliability issues and don't rank as high as some other 3rd row SUV models.
OP..............we LOOOOOOVED our Highlander. I cannot say enough good things about it, it's been a GREAT truck for us. We are currently considering the Honda Pilot. It drives really nice, gets stellar reviews and is nicely loaded.

I know this is not what you are asking, but I would STAY AWAY from the Traverse I hate it! Yes, it is roomy and the price is great...but that is all it has going for it. The transmission is not a smooth gear shift, you feel every time you accelerate. I took it in for service and was told that is just how their transmissions are and "they don't make them like they used to". Not to mention the gas mileage stinks!

Just wanted to say....I LOVED LOVED LOVED my Honda Pilot. I traded it in for the Odyssey bc I needed a minivan after my 3rd kid (3 kids in carseats).

Re: Chevy Traverse People
I never had a Traverse but I had another Chevy and would never buy one again. By 3 years I had so many problems and got rid of the car around 4 years. My sister had the same car and at her 3 year mark, the same issues.
I love my Highlander. I would look at the Highlander or 4Runner.

Re: Chevy Traverse People
Thanks everyone! I went today and test drove one. It was ok but didn’t love it. As I was leaving, a couple pulled in with a Kia Telluride that they were test driving. I looked inside and loved it but didn’t have time to talk to anyone about it. Anyone else have a Kia? I heard that they have really upped their game in reliability and are now amongst top brands. Any Telluride owners??

Can't help there, buy Hyundai is the same manufacturer and I love my Santa Fe. It has the 3rd row. 3rd row is tight for larger adults but perfect for kids and teens. And you don't lose all the trunk space. My husband has a 2018 Traverse. He loves it, but I feel like it's not a smooth ride, and for some reason my DS gets car sick in it, but not in my Santa Fe.

Re: Chevy Traverse People
We lease a Durango GT and I love it! It is very spacious inside for all rows- even the 3rd row. Tons of cargo space and a very nice ride. Dodge offers very good lease prices for this vehicle on all levels (trims and mileage). One word of caution- we had a terrible experience with Town and Country in Levittown. Went with Westbury and all went as easy as could be.

Kia is Hyundai and they are really good cars now. I saw a Kia Stinger on the road the other day and I was floored- it was stunning. DH had a Hyundai with over 200 thousand miles on it when he got rid of it and it never had a problem. I saw the Telluride and it's beautiful. Definitely go test drive it
