Chicken parm in the crockpot?
Anyone ever try this? I saw a few recipes on pinterest and was just wondering if anyone tried it. I hate the whole process of making it the usual way but this may be good for when I'm feeling lazy! Some with breadcrumbs some recipes without. I may try without because I'm afraid they will just get mooshy.

Re: Chicken parm in the crockpot?
I've never done chicken parm in the crockpot. However, I have done ribs with breadcrumbs, and they breadcrumbs didn't get mushy...so I'm thinking they would be ok?

Re: Chicken parm in the crockpot?
Thanks, I got scared I'd ruin them and have been trying to eat healthier so I didn't use the breadcrumbs.
I just threw the chicken breasts in the slow cooker (with some evoo on the bottom) Seasoned them well with S & P poured a few cups of my homemade suace on top. Added some extra spices (bay leaf, basil, paresley, some sugar & some grated locatelli). Turned it on low until it fell apart with a fork and covered with mozzarella. Once melted I served it up. Came out really good and super easy. I will try breadcrumbs next time.
