Chicken Question
If you had chicken in the freezer and you took it out to defrost it - and it did, you wouldn't re-freeze it right?

Thats what I thought.

I hate when I defrost things and then forget about it

I have never done it, but I read that you can refreeze meat if you defrost it in the refirigerator.
I am not brave enough to try it though.

Yes, you can if it has been properly defrosted and wrapped.
In reality, for me, with chicken especially I wouldn't.
