Re: Child care classes

I haven't taken them yet but will be especially for my husband sake who has never dealt with children. I am a pediatric ICU nurse but there are tons of things I don't know and think about, A little knowledge goes a long way. I reccomend infant CPR and choking for sure

Re: Child care classes

We're definitely taking the one the hospital offers. I've been around small children but DH never has, and he really wants to go.

Re: Child care classes

We want to take classes and had hoped to by now but with me not feeling well and seeing specialists, we have not made it a priority. I still really hope to do this and it is early enough.

Re: Child care classes

We want to take the CPR class, but we don't have time off together. I was certified in it for over 15 years, so I'm close to just sending DH on his own.

No other classes for us.

Re: Child care classes

We took them all:

infant care
breastfeeding
labor/delivery
lamaze
infant/child safety

Very informative....we found them all useful, some more useful than others.

We took them all at Good Sam, but you can check w/ your hospital or OB

Re: Child care classes

We have taken Infant CPR and a Babycare class. We are also scheduled for the following: Prepared Parent Childbirth class, a car seat inspection class, and a Safe Home class.
