The Director is responsible for the overall administration of the Child Care Center; defines policies related to admission, attendance, tuition, educational programs. Responsible also for the fiscal management of the Center. He/She will maintain a liaison with the licensing regulator. The Director recruits and hires the Center's personnel and develops Staff Development Programs. The Director will also plan and implement Parent Orientation and Education, Health and Safety Programs. He/She will also oversee the Center's school-age summer camp program and serve as an ex-officio member of the Center's Board of Directors. Able to multitask and be flexible to accommodate Center's needs.

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's Degree in addition to 12 credits in Early Childhood Development or Related Field or New York State Children's Program Administrator credential. Must have a minimum of 2 years teaching experience and 2 years supervisory experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree Preferred along with Asst. Director or Director experience and experience running a Summer Camp Program.

Additional Information:
SALARY: $42,000 - $45,000/YEAR
