Child Care Question?
Still early in my pregnancy, but starting to look at the important questions for when the baby arrives....
We would need someone to watch the baby from 8:30-5:30.
If you have someone that watches your kid at your house, how much do you pay? Do they do other chores?
If you have someone watch your kid at THEIR house, how much do you pay?
Just looking into options. I don't know how I feel about vaccines at 6 weeks, which is when I would have to go back to work. If I put my child in a day care center, I would have to have the vaccines done right away.
Thanks for your help!

Re: Child Care Question?
How many hours a day do you need a sitter? Daycare is about $250+ a week for an infant, a sitter would be cheaper.. from my experience. A sitter normally does not do any thing other then care for your child.. I beleive a Nanny would do more (light chores)

Re: Child Care Question?
Daycare for me is $245 a week. A sitter in your home for the same amount of hours on Long Island..roughly $10 an hour OR MORE. Daycare is many times the cheaper option unless you only need care a couple of days a week.
