SANTA ROSA, Calif. - A judge dismissed child pornography charges Thursday against former JonBenet Ramsey murder suspect John Mark Karr after prosecutors said they didn’t have enough evidence.
Karr, 41, was living in Thailand when he told reporters he was with the 6-year-old beauty queen when she died. He was returned to Boulder, Colo., but DNA evidence quickly cleared the former schoolteacher.
He was then sent back to California to face outstanding misdemeanor child porn possession charges from 2001.

Does anyone really think he did it? I personally thought it was weird that they arrested him in the first place.
ETA: It seems to me the whole thing was a setup.

well, he had child porn on his computer- but the police department lost it- that's right LOST THE COMPUTER... so there IS no evidence.

i dont- BUT i do think hes a weirdo! and that people like him are ABNORMAL and do not belong on the street
guilty or not, the fact that he wanted to be guilty is so sick and twisted

This is one of those rare cases where I wish you could lock someone up on circumstantial evidence.
Why was he i jail in Thailand anyway? Was it for molestation? I think they should send him back to prison in Thailand - I think this whole thing was a ploy to get him extradited to the US.

Obviously, the only prosecutors worse than the ones in Colorado are the ones in Los Angeles.
