children's furniture
I want to order a dresser and a night stand and a chest of drawes for my daughter's "big girl room". Please recommend some websites with good prices. So far what I like best is from Target but I am concerned about the quality.

Re: children's furniture
Babies R Us has some great furniture. You don't have to buy the entire ensemble. We liked DD's set so much, we actually bought a matching armoire for our room.

I agree, JCPenney's has some nice things...so does Sears. I think their site is searsroomforkids.com

Re: children's furniture
Roomstogo.com has beautiful furniture. The have stores in NC and Fla. I have a ton of friends and family that got all of their furniture from there too.
They are reasonably priced and have great customer service.
I will be ordering Ava's big girl room from them soon.

So far what I like best is from Target but I am concerned about the quality. The main concern I would have about Target furniture is that it is Ikea-ish. The problem with that type of furniture and small kids is that the drawers tend to be very easy to open and close. It's the closing part I would be concerned with - they close so fast on the rollers that their fingers can get caught very easily. I'd go with something a little better made for that reason alone.

Re: children's furniture
i heard jcpenneys is really nice. my neighbor got a trundle from there and we were going to order from there and decided to go to bbb and used 20% coupons they have big girl beds and furniture there. saved over 700 dollars on the furniture and paid only 50 dollars for delivery and assembly.

behr's
Definitely agree with Behr's. Baby Fortunoff, Buy Buy Baby, and Behr's all had the furniture I got for DD, and it was the cheapest there. They also have tons of toddler furniture too.
