Child's sewing machine
Hi, Can anybody recommend a sewing machine for a 7 year old who is very eager to learn? I looked on amazon and they all seem to get awful reviews (machines made specifically for children). Just looking for something easy for her (and me) to learn to use to do basic stuff.
Thank you!

A basic machine is about $100. Maybe even a little cheaper at Walmart. I would just get that and skip the child sewing machine. A basic machine would have a good# of stitches available and would be durable.

I would not get a kids one, they are all junk! Like the PP said, I would just get a basic machine! My DD is asking for one too, but she can just use mine like she already does

Re: Child's sewing machine
Thank you for the replies.
Yeah, they do seem like junk. I will check out some inexpensive adult beginner machines.
