Re: Chili Recipe?
My usual recipe
1 pkg ground turkey 2 can beans ( I use pinto and black) 3 ribs celery chopped up 1 green bell pepper diced large
2 cans tomato sauce or puree 1 pack chili seasoning 1 med. onion diced
Brown the meat and onions together in a little bit of oil.
Add the tomato sauce and veggies.
Simmer on med low for about 1 1/2 - 3 hours ( I like it longer to make it come together more)
Serve with tortilla chips or corn bread. Top with cheese or sour cream if you like

Re: Chili Recipe?
Here's mine
2lbs Turkey Chopmeat 1 large onion shopped 2 cans Red Pack tomatos (I throw in the blender) 1 jar salsa 1 packet McCormick chili mix 2 cans red kidney beans
in a large skillet, I saute onion in alittle oil, then brown the chopmeat
I then transfer it all in a large pot, and add all the other ingredients. I simmer for about 45 minutes til it cooks all through. I serve over rice!
THis recipe makes alot!! So sometimes I cut it in half!
