I am sure if we had a discussion about Mets vs. Yankees, Islanders vs. Rangers, Jets vs. Giants, we would pull some emotion out of you.

Honestly, I'm not a fan of watching a dozen muscular men that I don't know, all wearing tight pants fight over a ball with another dozen men, also wearing tight pants..... doesn't sound very "manly" to me. Several women I know say they like to watch professional sports because of the muscular men in tight uniforms.....
Now, a *real* sport to watch is women's beach volleyball.....  
I enjoy playing rough sports, just not watching other guys play....

 That is an AWFUL reason to watch a sport. I love to watch hockey. It is an amazing game filled with talented players and there are very few players that are just "skating" by. I have also played a few games of hockey myself.
