Chip on the shoulder
Do you know someone that has a chip on their shoulder?
that anyone that has more than them...
well the person finds ways to put the things that others have down
to talk bad about them...
etc etc
i just do not get that sometimes...
OBVIOUSLY it is rooted in jealousy
But it only makes them look silly when they go out of their way to put down others and what others have just because they don't have the same...

I have a friend like that.... to a tee. It did only make her look so foolish though and it was completely obvious to everyone around her that it was because of her own insecurities...... luckily she is over it now.

I have a friend like that... we just went to a wedding together, and it was the first time SO had really met her... he was astonished at her mean comments about just about every woman we saw!!!
Everyone is too fat, too skinny, or OMG look at her outfit, she looks HORRIBLE...
Then she speaks another language to me ABOUT THE PEOPLE AT OUR TABLE... I mean, seriously, like the poor girl doens't know we're talking about her, since we're not speaking English??????

I know someone like that and I find it really, really annoying.
I know it's due to jealousy and sometimes I feel badly for her because she's obviously very unhappy but for the most part I have little patience for it.
Just be happy for people and there's no need to knock them because they have more or better than you do. Karma is a real beyotch though so they should really get a grip.

I have a friend like that- latley it's become to much for me
she never has anything nice to say
I was being so positive about losing my Job and wanting to use it to make my life better- and she was so negatitive
I haven't called her in a while
I know it comes from jealousy and insurity

I have a manager that does this but not so much with "stuff". He goes out of his way to put down work that certain coworkers do, never lets them know when something is good, only bad.
Makes me wonder what he says about me behind my back
He is jealous of the work they do.

I have a friend that definitely has one. It's a shame. She's really fun to hang out with, but I can't stand the attitude at times. It gets very tiring.

My BIL's wife is like that. She never has anything nice to say. She trashes other people like it's her job, she has still not acknowledged my pregnancy (I'm 8 months), and she speaks down to people like they are pieces of shite.
