Re: chipolte
I've been twice to others. It's good. I don't know how they get money for nachos, they should be free. Guacamole is expensive too. I prefer Moe's which is MUCH more reasonably priced.

Re: chipolte
We went today. It's tasty, but very expensive for what it is. They charge you extra for everything. Plus, the menu is VERY limited. But if you are looking for something quick but a little better than traditional fast food, then I'd definitely try it.

I am not a fan of Chipolte. I went once but will probably never go back. I don't like what I get for the $.
I like Baja Fresh much better.

Re: chipolte
I really enjoy Chipotle! The menu is very limited tho--I always get the veggie burrito bowl...its a LOT to eat!
Plus..I love their chips--they have a little bit of a lime flavor to them..yum!

Re: chipolte
I'm so surprised to hear how many people don't like Chipotle. We've had them here in Chicago for a few years and it's one of my favorite lunch spots. Not sure what they are charging in NY, but the prices here are pretty reasonable, for $6 bucks you get a pretty large chicken burrito/bol.

Not a bif fan at all - like a pp said, they charge for chips!!
I LOVED Qdoba, which was across the way from the one in Hicksville, and they closed! I definitely prefer Moe's.

Re: chipolte
Definitely a Green Cactus fan. It's Chipotle with a menu selection.
Also, another really good Mexican restaurant is this hole in the wall across from Waldbaums in Southampton called La Hacienda. It's insanely cheap.

If you want more authentic Mexican, try Los Compadres. It's in Huntington Station too, very close to the new Chipotle, on the side street behind the Dunkin Donuts on 110. It's a very small building. We don't usually eat there though.

Re: chipolte
We went to the new Chipotle last night. We've also been to the one in Farmindgale a few times.
It's ok. The burritos are HUGE. They must weigh 5 lbs (exaggeration, but still...).
Green Cactus, Baja Fresh, Chipotle, even Taco Bell....I've tried them all. They are all a bit different from each other (esp. TB ).
But what is Moe's? I've never heard of this place before. Where are they located?

I dont really think the nutrition information OR the price is that bad considering I get 3 meals out of one burrito!
Love it there!!

Re: chipolte
I've never been. DH likes it. My inlaws tried the one in Huntington the other night and MIL said it was "OK".
We love a place by us called 3 Amigos. My MIL and I both said yesterday we are spoiled. Seriously. Everywhere else we've tried, 3 Amigos beats them.
