Re: Chocolate question....
to get the same amount of caffeine as is in one cup of coffee you'd have to eat like a pound of chocolate a day - and even in that case, the fat content would be worse for you b/c most doctors say that caffeine is fine if it's only one cup a day.

Besides, being pregnant these days isn't as much fun as back in the day. This used to be the one time in your life where you could divulge in anything you could imagine.
Now you can't eat cold cuts, or anything unpasteurized, add chocolate to the list and my reason for pg is obsolete!!!

Re: Chocolate question....
There was an article when I was pregnant with my daughter (2006) that pregnant women who ate chocolate during their pregnancies had happy babies!!
I would stick to that!

Re: Chocolate question....
I had read an article when I was pregnant with #1 that a piece of chocolate a day means you will have a happy baby. Well I have to tell you Kiera was the happiest baby in the world. So you bet your arse that I eat my one piece, ok sometimes it's even more than one, a day.

Re: Chocolate question....
I eat it - often. Not a bag of it, but I'll eat a brownie or whatever I'm in the mood for. I know there's caffeine in it - but I gave up caffinated coffee which they say you can have a little of. That's how I'm justifying it.
