Now that I look again, it looks like maybe it ripped? Because do you see that safety pin and it looks ragged.
Maybe the slit wasn't as bad but she stepped on the hem and tore it?

Didn't rip (although it does look like that. Either that or she just tore out the seams!) The other side of the dress was even worse! Why even bother getting dressed at all?

i know she's very proud of her post-baby body and wants to promote a healthy body image, but this is not the way to do it.

Big deal you bounced back. Lots of women do and they aren't rich celebs with plenty of help with the baby, personal trainers, etc.
For some reason, I really can't stand her. Something about her has always irked me
