Christening Dress Shopping.. Anyone know of a store?
Hi,
We are going shopping tomorrow for my Goddaughers Christening outfit. Can anyone please recommend a store that is not too expensive but has nice stuff.. Location: Suffolk/Nassau border. As far out as Merrick/Bellmore and as East as Babylon/Islip/Sayville. Thanks so much. Denise

Little Dickens in Lake Grove/Centerreach - its on Middle Country Rd and its all they carry - HUGE selection!

Lobels in Massapequa Sunrise mall, also JC Penney there has some nice gowns too.

Charlotte's kids in Wantagh, on Merrick Road just east of the Wantagh pkway
we looked everywhere and found nothing until we went to Charlottes.

I found Strasburg to have very plain things.
We had luck @ Macy's Whitman. An adorable suit and shoes for under $50. I'm sure Roosevelt Field would have even more.

I didn't like anything in Charlotte's but my BFF did.
I got both DS and DD's outfits in Lobels. They had great stuff and the prices were the best I had seen.

This! But they're pricey. You might want to try a flea market. They sometimes have beautiful gowns at a cheaper cost.

Designing Dreams in Mineola. They have a huge selection of hand-made one of a kind, and they are very reasonable.
