Christening Favors...Is it necessary
Is it necessary to have Christening favors. And if i were to do them, i was thinking of picture frames.
Do i put a pic of the baby in them, if so, what kind of pic to I put in it.

I had only a small family celebration for both my kids Christenings. We did not do favors and no one even expected them.

we didnt have anything big so we didnt do favors, I dont think for a christening, however big or small that it is necessary though...

It's not necessary. I did frames with Jared's picture in them. On the picture, it had his christening date and a thank you.

i'm not doing favors... i'm donating $$ to cancer research since my daughter will be named after my grandmother who died from cancer, as well dh's grandmother and a few other people in my family.

Totally not necessary! That being said, I did personalized CDs and lollipop bouquets for my 1st and photo cookies (veronicastreats.com) for my 2nd - BUT, my family expects favors.
