christening gift ideas...
I have a Christening coming up and I have to give a gift. It's for a boy. I dont really want to spend too much money but I also dont want to look cheap. Any ideas on what I should get? I feel like girls are so much easier. HELP PLEASE TIA

I usually give a monetary gift or a bond for a Christening.

I was thinking of this but do you think it's a good idea when the parents are not tight for money at all???? I feel like I am going to look cheap.

The gift is for the baby so it will probably be put in his bank account for when he grows up. Why would you look cheap? Most people give monetary gifts.

Give what you can afford and if they don't like it, tough.
I find events like this difficult to buy something for, they're just one of those things that people usually give money.

I do the same. Give what you can. Whatever the amount I prefer giving $ and hopefully by the time they are old enough, it will have earned some interest.
If you prefer something maybe from things remembered.
