Christening Menu Suggestions

I'm having Peyton's christening next weekend and for the menu, it's a salad, pasta and then two choices for an entree w/potatoes, veggies. I'm thinking of selecting chicken parm and maybe salmon oreganata or shrimp oreganata. Would you guys pick a fish or would you do the chicken / veal option. I hate making decisions like this!

I don't eat veal...I would pick the chicken/fish combo.

Re: Christening Menu Suggestions

I would do a fish for non meat eaters, preferably the shrimp. I just had this same dilemna for gianna's party in june. I was surprised how many people ordered fish.

My only concern with the shrimp is that I would think people would think it's not filling enough. I myself would probably select the shrimp too.

Also, would you pick chicken parm or more of a chicken marsala or franchese? I know marsala / franchese is more of a traditional selection but I personally don't like it.

I picked chic parm too! I don;t care for francese, and marsala-only if the place makes it really good! {ersonally, if I had the choice for Gianna, I would do shrimp only because i think lots more people like shrimp then salmon. I hate salmon, but love shrimp!

these decisions are soo hard especially when you want to please everyone!

ETS: for gianna's i chose chic parm, london broil & sole

I would do a fish and go with the shrimp over the salmon. I personally love fish but hate salmon.

I am the same way! Although more people have a shell-fish allergy, that's a tough one!

This is exactly what my girlfriend said. They love shellfish but not salmon. Ugh I hate this. My only concern is the amount of shrimps that they give. Would people look at it like it's not enough? I mean I know there's a salad, pasta and sides. I'm probably thinking too much into it. I'm one of those, I'd rather have more than less.
