Christian Louboutin:
Those who have his shoes - where do you buy them? What department store? And do ANY of the stores that sell the shoes accept ANY type of store coupons in ANY capacity or is that a crazy pipe dream?

Saks has them and I think Neiman Marcus? I know Nordstrom and Bloomies don't carry them. I don't know if you can use coupons, but usually designer stuff is excluded from coupons.

I got mine from Neiman Marcus. No coupons. But they do have a semi annual shoe sale, as does Bergdorf Goodman in NYC. Mine were very discounted. January and July!

No, Neiman Marcus does not have a location in the city.
I know for sure that Neiman has an annual sale where CLs are on sale, but I can't tell you when...sorry. You are most likely NOT going to get a discount on them.
This is one of the only places I know that regularly has discounts on them:

They have actual CL stores in the city and sometimes they do put certain shoes on sale sometimes. I haven't been to the midtown one, I was at the one in soho I think?

The classics never go on sale, but some of the others do. If you open a Saks credit card, you do get a 10% discount for your first purchase. Also, the CL stores are really, really picky about returns and sometimes can charge you $30 if they feel the red sole has "excessive" marks, I know some people who have been hit with that charge just for trying them on! Good luck!!!

They do announce it online but it is a thing you tend to know if you speak to the staff. It is at all NM and the BG in the city (their only location is 5th and 58th)-the first markdown is mid June and then I go back and get an adjustment so I have the shoes.
Yes, it is a complete mob scene once the sale really starts in July. We are talking really great discounts. Like 2 pairs of Manolos for 500, both retailing around 585. My Loubs are the espadrilles and they retailed close to 400 and I bought them for 130.

I only went to the NM in White Plains, their only nearby location when I had a conference there. I am in Boca half of the time and NM is 5 minutes away from me.
I go to the BG on 5th and 58th.

Neiman has a big sale every January. I definitely saw some CLs on sale this year.
ETA: I was at the Neiman at the Garden State Mall in NJ.

I go to the neiman marcus in Short Hills or Garden State Plaza. If and when Louboutins are on sale they are very few sizes and unpopular styles.

I usually buy from the CL store on Madison Avenue or in the Meatpacking District in Manhattan. Otherwise, I go to Saks.

you can use gift cards if you have them, towards CL - I have done this at Saks with gift cards that I have gotten from credit card rewards points.
I have also been to the sale at BG and they do usually have a bunch on sale.
I have also purchased from CL store on Madison but did not get any deals.
