Does anyone know what a Christian Church of God is?

There's a little church across the street from my house that does masses in English and Italian. I've been thinking about checking it out since we moved here. However, I'm wondering what type of denomination a "Christian Church of God" is? That's all that it's called, and it says "All are welcome here."

The only reason that I care about the type/denomination is because I'm worried about going in and getting sucked into some Westboro Baptist church group.

I tried Googling but there's no information about it. It seems like the name would just mean some general sort of Christian group, but who knows.

Not sure, but could be Born Again. There was a Church in VS that had a similar name and they were Born Again.

from my theology class in college, it would be Pentecostal or Adventist.

My sister was nvolved in a church of god and they were strangely cultish.

I think they definitely mostly keep old testament law. My sister went through a phase where she didn't even celebrate Christmas.
