Christmas Bonus
What do you do with yours?
My dh and I spend our entire Christmas bonus on Christmas and feel this is what it was intended for.

put it in the bank to be used for something in the future. By the time I get it my shopping is done. DH doesn't get one.

Our bonus was so little last year that I spent it all on Christmas. I don't know if we'll get one this year.
If I got a significant bonus, I'd save some and spend some.

when I would get one (SAHM now) I would take half and put it right into savings and stocks. the other was to pay off a bill or two and then to buy myself something sweet
My DH's bonus is done the same pretty much. 1/2 goes directly into our portfolio and the other 1.2 goes right into savings.

We save or invest all of it usually...

DH gets nice ones and 90% goes into our house fund - we use 10% of it for fun stuff.
My jobs never give them. Well one job (the biggest communications company in the world) used to give us like $50. Gee Thanks.

DH's gets paid out in January. We invest half in his company fund and put the rest into our savings.

I used to use CCs for all Christmas shopping and then immediately pay it off with my bonus. This year I did a Christmas Club, and there was no bonus.

Usually we bank it all. Unless there is something we really, really, really want. Like last year it was a new TV. So we put our bonuses towards that. Otherwise, we save it.

If we get a bonus it's paid out in installments. We usually put that money towards our IRA's.

This year it will be going to my credit card which I bought all my christmas gifts with. Last year, I believe I saved some and spent some.
I do something different with it every year, depending on what I need it for.
