Christmas Card RANT..Rude Friend
My DH's has a friend who he barely speaks to he lives in Las Vegas and is more of a hi from facebook these days then anything else. They have never been close just a someone in a group of friends. Well this friend sent us a Christmas card we got it a couple of days ago and I had already sent out my Christmas cards and did not include him I send over 50 cards and he is not a close friend or family and I do not send to everyone I ever met. Well he sends my DH and about 5 other "friends" an email saying how he is sending this out to people he sent Christmas cards to who he has not received one back from. He said in the email I have moved this year but sent my address to everyone so I did expect cards. He made it clear we still have time to send a card and he then says and for the record here is my address again.
Who does this? My DH has not seen or really spoken to this person since our wedding in October 2009. This person was invited because the whole group of friends were invited so we sent an invite not sure if he would come from Vegas but the guy said he would see all his friends at once so he came. He did not even give us a card for our wedding. That is besides the point though. I could not believe he actually sent out an email requesting Christmas cards from people who he did not get one back from.
Do I send him a card? I really do not want to I think this was just so tacky and lame.

That is hysterical! Who does that?
In any case, I would mail him a card. It appears it is important to him so if that is all he needs to put the merry in his Christmas, then so be it.

What a twerp. I'd probably send him a card, and here's what I'd do... Take a nativity scene with Mary, Joseph and Sweet Baby Jesus then stick a photo of his head over the infant's.

if it were me and DH, we would get a very special sarcastic or tasteless humor sort of card JUST FOR HIM and send it out.

I would send him a christmas card... then a hanukkah card... then a baby shower card... then a christening card... then valentine's day... see if you can find an Arbor day one while you're at it... and send one per day until you get tired of it.
