Christmas gift dilemma-What would you do?
So in an effort to make things easier for the family a bunch of us set up Amazon wish lists. Well, a few of the items on my brother's list were from a company that has been really difficult to deal with.
My mom and I both ordered things for my brother and when we ordered them they were available but a few days later we received e-mails that the items would be delayed. Today is the 22nd and I was just notified that the item I ordered is out of stock and they cancelled my order.
My parents are leaving for NC to visit bro and SIL on the 26th and I am desperate to have SOMETHING to give him
Do I
a) try to find something from his wish list in a local store
or
b) send him an Amazon gift card and let him do what he wants?
I feel like a Christmas gift failure

Don't feel like a failure. Amazon seems to be dropping the ball a lot lately. Can you give him something small, so he has something AND a giftcard so he can get what he wants?

i would give him the gift certificate- and explain what happened
amazon sucks, i have ordered from them twice, and both times they have let me down. you know a company is in bad shape when you can't find a customer service link on their website
