Christmas/Holiday Card spinoff

Do you guys write little personal notes in your holiday cards? Or do you just either sign them Love, so and so or if you get the pre-printed photo cards, just stick them in an envelope?

I always try to write a LITTLE something personal- not a big long note of course- but something individual to each person- like, Hope you enjoy your first Christmas as husband and wife, or Looking forward to seeing you on Christmas Eve, etc.

But I notice most people really don't personalize it that much...

Just curious what everyone else does...

I usually write a little something. I don't send out alot of cards anymore, so it's more personal now.

I don't like the pre-signed cards IMO its not personal at all(i didn't even allow this for my wedding thank yous). I always sign them, and depending on who it is I usually write a little something.

I dont write anything on them bc I am too anal and have not found a pen that looks nice on the glossy photo paper. Chat Icon

I wanted to do the actual photo CARD ( with a fold ) this year so I could write in them but couldn't find one that I liked.

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card spinoff

I used to handwrite until i had kids. Now i barely have time to address the envelopes. I've been trying to get my cards out for over a week, and only have 1/2 addressed. Chat Icon

So NO i don't write anything personal or sign them anymore.

I always sign our cards and depending on who the card is for I usually try to write a little note.

I try to write a sentence or two. Honestly, this year, I just wrote out all my baby shower thank yous like two weeks ago, so I may skim on the Christmas messages

Re: Christmas/Holiday Card spinoff

I write a little something in each one. Granted, it may just be "Hope Santa is good to you this year!" or "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year!"

I won some personalized cards in a raffle this year so they have a generic holiday greeting with our names inside. I will also write a little something, especialy to our friends and family who celebrate Christmas.

See I think it's ok not to write anything for holiday cards, but NEVER ok for thank-you's.
