Christmas Lawn Blow-ups (warning: Family Related)
Posting this on the NFR board because we had a thread last week about what Christmas decorations we hate.
I can't stand the blow-ups on people's lawns. Definitely not for my house - fine if you want them in yours.
While driving my kids home tonight, we stopped at a red light. Directly across from the light was someone's house. They had a huge blow-up Grinch on their porch.
My son screamed at the top of his lungs, "Mommy! Look the Grinch is at those people's house!!!!"
I said "You mean that Grinch inflatable decoration?"
He said "Oh, it's a decoration? I'm so glad, I thought it was the real Grinch....um...is the Grinch real or is he a character?"
"He's a character."
Soooo glad they have those mall Santa Clauses....because they're "real".

Joseph is just too cute!  As for the lawn thingies, I'm okay with just one (though I wouldn't put one on my lawn.). It's the people that have multiple ones. There are people in neighborhood that have FIVE of them on their lawn

That is ADORABLE, so cute!.....I don't have the blow ups but don't mind them....if they make the homeonwer happy then isn't that whay holiday decorating is all about
