Has anyone else done this? Is this too weird?

Re: Christmas ornaments for favors for a baptism?
Well, I am jewish so obviously it would not be a good favor for me but if you don't have any non-catholic/christian people attending then it's a cute idea.

Re: Christmas ornaments for favors for a baptism?
The favors at my niece's christening were Christmas ornaments. Her christening was in December, though.

Re: Christmas ornaments for favors for a baptism?
I did a plantable seed ornament shaped like a dove for my wedding favors (got married Dec 29) and they were a hit! You would do something like these....they are ornaments, but not so Chistmassy and people can choose to either use then as ornaments of plant them to commemorate your baby's special day!

Re: Christmas ornaments for favors for a baptism?
My dd's christening was on Jan. 2nd so we did this - everyone thought it was really cute and it just so happened that everyone there celebrated Christmas so it worked out for us.
I had them all on display on a small Christmas tree and each person took an ornament off as they left the party (I had boxes for them to store it in)

This is a really great idea. DC's christening is in June, but that is really great.
