Christmas photos
I want to get DD's holiday photo (our holiday cards) done ASAP. I hate holiday crowds and it's important to me that the quality be good, price second of importance. I've been using a photographer that did her hospital photos at NSUH. They've been great and come to the home and everything... quality is amazing, but very expensive.
I wasn't planning on spending on spending that much on the holiday cards. I get mailings from Target and Sears all the time and someone recently suggested BRU. I had some graduation photos done for something else years ago and they came out horrible. I can't remember which "superstore" they were done at though. Pictures were off center and just overall poor quality. I don't want that same issue here. In fact recently DD's daycare had photos done with a photographer and I thought the quality was not that good. They were inexpensive, but if I don't like them then who cares how cheap they are?
Just wanted to know what other's have used and how it turned out.
TIA.

Re: Christmas photos
I used Sears and they came out pretty good! Of course, they are all different, and I guess it depends on who actually shoots them

Re: Christmas photos
We've been happy with Kiddie Kandids (in BRU) the big plus is you get the photos that day. This is were I am getting our pics done this Christmas.
I did Target for Easter and liked them, but you have to wait 2 weeks to get the pics.

Re: Christmas photos
I have used SEARS--go on a weekday morning to avoid crowds--and then I buy the CD and make the cards online

Re: Christmas photos
Ive used Target, JCPenny and BRU - - honestly, I liked both Target and Pennys better - and they are both way cheaper than BRU. The quality was good and I had no complaints. Definately go during the week, preferably in the am's to avoid crowds at this time of the year.

Re: Christmas photos
I've used Sears quite a bit and they always turn out great and you can't beat the prices. I went to KK once, and while the pictures were cute, the props were in horrible condition (i.e dirty chipped paint).

Re: Christmas photos
My SIL works part time at Kiddie Kandids (in BRU).
She did Ryan's 3 month pics and I think they came out awesome.

Re: Christmas photos
JCP! There is a coupon on their website for 3.99 sheets. I have been VERY happy with them. I also like KK, but I refuse to pay those prices anymore to be told I can only pic from 8 pics I didn't even get to view before the girl made the decision what to delete.
