Christmas things to do in the city?
Im not sure what board this belongs on...but my DH and I are heading into the city tomorrow. We wanted to do some Christmas things, and eat some where...but NOT spend too much $$!
Any ideas?

i love little italy during x-mas time.. all the little shops and restaurants and the streets are decorated so nicely with Bon Natali signs.. and of coarse rockefeller center.. and a horse and buggy ride in central park with some hot cocoa!

Union Square does a whole set up for Christmas, as does Bryant Park - But I don't think they're set up yet .........????
Central Park ice skating ?
The tree isn't lit in Rockerfeller Center yet ..........I think most of the store windows are done though ........

I love to go ice skating at rockefeller center or bryant park at this time of year.

I love seeing the tree at the Metropolitan Museum, but I saw on the site that it isn't up until 11/25.

Bryant Park's Christmas shops are opening tomorrow!!!
ETA: And I believe the rink at Bryant Park is free for ice skating.

We are going to dinner in NYC around xmas time and then going to the tree and just walk around.
