CIO question

Okay, how old was your child when you did CIO and how long did you let them cry. I am looking for encouragement because I will be starting this process again soon and I remember how hard it was with dd.

DS is a great sleeper at night but lately he will ONLY nap in my arms and it is a habit I want to break sooner rather than later.

TIA

DS is like this too. I'm at my wits end and it gets worse with every nap and passing day. He's 3.5 months.

Re: CIO question

I did cry it out when Jack turned 6 months old.

I would rock him for every single nap - every day. Let me tell you, it was friggin exhausting! The kid was born at 10lbs - so I just couldn't do it anymore (at 6 months he was 22lbs)
