Circumcision Question???
How long will the baby be sore for? He just had it done yesterday but I feel so bad during diaper changes. I know it could take up to a week to heal, but i didn't think it would be so painful.

I don't think Charlie's took too long either time. (We had to have it redone at 3 weeks because she didn't take off enough  ) After the first day, I don't recall him being in pain.

DS was really fine that day. He didn't seem to be in any pain at all (my dr. numbed it though - and I know all drs. don't always do that - so maybe that made a difference?)
By tomm. he should be better!

depends on the method....
DS was red for a week to 2 weeks. I was glopping on the vaseline like a madwoman!

Yeah, we're doing this now. It's hard to tell if he's really wet sometimes because of all the ointment
Thanks for your responses, we go to the ped tomorrow so I guess he can really assess it then
