Re: CITE/College of St. Rose

im currently enrolled in this program and i like it a lot. you can choose to take classes either on sat or on sun and they go from about 8/8:30 to about 3:30/4. definitely recommend that you do NOT miss a class though- the make up assignments are killer. it is a LOT of reading each week, but the assignments aren't too too bad. usually about one or two papers a week, but not anything too crazy. you need to spend two weekends in albany over the course of the program and i just got back from my first weekend- it really wasnt too bad at all. its nice because its a cohort format so you take all of your classs with the same group of people. hope this helps. if you have any other questions, fm me.
good luck!Chat Icon

question about the albany weekend...where do you stay? do you have to pay for a hotel?

Re: CITE/College of St. Rose

I did this program and felt it was very manageable...you do have to pay for hotel in Albany..the first time I stayed at a b and b and the second time I shared a room at the Hilton or something like that..as for the length of classes, they are pretty much all day and if the same class is offered on Sunday and you have something on a Saturday, you an usually switch...good luck!

Re: CITE/College of St. Rose

the group interview is a little weird. there are about 5-8 people, they call you in together after you do a writing sample. they go around and ask everyone a different individual question to answer, then i think they asked one question and had everyone just jump in and answer it. it was not bad.
everyone stays in hotels in albany, theyre not too expensive.
