City Mini Owners... Color Question?

What color City Mini do you have?

If you have black, do you find it gets "hot"?

I like the black, but my neighborhood is REALLY sunny in the summer (we have no trees) so I am worried my boys will bake in the stroller when we take walks.

If you have another color (I really like the stone), does it show a lot of dirt? Is it easy to wipe down if your child gets, say, chocolate on it?

I have the green and gray in the single, and the orange and gray in the double. Double is new, but the green I've had and used literally every day for at least 18 months and while it got dirty because of dailly usage, it wiped clean very easily. Takes wear and tear very well.

Have you seen the new purple one? It's goooooooorgeous!!!! But I have 2 boys, I was sad.

I have the double Stone Citi Mini and it doesn't show the dirt. I love it....I REALLY love the purple one but no excuse to get a new one!!

I love the purple too. I have 2 boys too and can't say that I haven't thought about putting them in a purple stroller...

Ours is orange and definitely shows the dirt from the boys' feet as I put them in it.
I'm scrubbing that thing all the time.

We have the orange and grey. My peg perego is black and that got very hot! I think any black stroller will get hot, I would never get another black one.

ETA: I looooove the purple one! But I dont think it's DS's color

I have the Stone color. It doesn't get very dirty. When I get dirt, I wipe it down or you could take the seat cover off and wash it.

I have the green/gray double and has worn great considering I walked everyday with it and gave the boys their snacks in them. I also have the single in stone and it is very clean, but not used as often. I do like the stone better though.

When I was purchasing ours I thought the same thing about the black on black, both of my boys are fair.

I was stuck between the stone color and the black one. I ended up going with the black because the stroller closes like a clamshell with the seat part on the outside - so when you throw it in the trunk or if you lay it on the floor (since it doesn't stand on it's own when folded closed), I figured it would get a lot more dirty visually in the stone than the black. I love the black one! The sun shade is so large that the seat part is mostly covered anyway.

After I got the black one, I ran into someone in my neighborhood with the stone one. Her kids looked to be over 2 yrs old (it was a double). That thing was so yuck! It looked like they had never wiped it and was just so dirty around the feet, but also on the part where they actually sit. I'm sure if the parents cleaned it every so often, it wouldn't have looked like that, but I was happy I didn't have the light one at that point.

i have the Red /gray one..
for the most part it stays nice and clean.. i just have to wipe it down once in a while

I saw that and the pink and black and I am so mad they didn't have them, especially the purple last year.

Although I must say, this pink officianado really likes the blue and black one!
