City Mini Stroller Owners question?
Did you replace the clip and if so how did you get the strap off of it?? I can't remove the old one the stiching is in the way and will not fit thru to remove it.

We weren't able to do so - I got the clip off okay but not back on - and called them - they told me to cut it open and have it restitched somewhere and my DH called and said no way. They sent us a new seat w/ the new clip on it.
Some people were able to change theirs w/ pliers but after 4 people tried that on our we realized ours was too tight to do that.

Yeah we got the old one off just couldn't get the new one on. That's great that they will put it on for you but do they expect you to pay to ship it to them? If so this is their safety recall - I would ask them to cover the shipping. We didn't pay anything when they sent us the new seat AND they didn't ask for the old one back - I wish they had b/c obviously we can't use the old seats.

She didn't say anything about them covering the cost. I will have to call them back I just want them to ship me a new seat and be done. I told her I can't use the seat therefore I would not recommend this stroller and her response was "Oh no one has called and said they had a hard time getting the new clip on the stroller!!

LOL sounds like they don't want the hassle. Well I know that when we were at BBB we heard people telling them that they had trouble changing the clips too so I KNOW it wasn't just us. It is there recall they should pay for any expenses incurred.
