Clarifying shampoo

Can you recommend a good clarifying shampoo, hopefully inexpensive?

I just feel like my hair doesn't get totally clean since I did a temporary dye in the late winter. It gets oily way faster than usual.

I'm thinking a good wash with a special shampoo will help.

Re: Clarifying shampoo

ive been using paul mitchell THREE clarifying to get rid of the black dye in my hair. it works but changed the texture of my hair. when you wash it out, your har will be sooo dry but as soon as you put just a little bit of conditioner, your hair will be silkkkkky soft. I personally hate it when my hair is soft. i need texture. it has left my hair limp.

for your purpose, I would use paul mitchell clarifying TWO. its the cheapest at ulta. buy 2 get 1 free ( 10-11$ a bottle) cvs its 14?

Re: Clarifying shampoo

My hairdresser recommended I just use Suave...its .99 and works just as good as any other.

I was using sulfate free shampoo and it left a film in my hair...the Suave took care of it.

This. To me all clarifying shampoos are the same.
I use the Suave as well. Works great.

I also have a recipe for a homemade one that you can make with ingredients in your kitchen for like pennies.
And it's all natural.
Let me know if you want it and I'll find it

Tea Tree Oil shampoo from Trader Joe is my favorite and it is safe for Kertin treated hair!

Going to sound totally crazy but, I have very oily hair. Nothing really works for me. I started using dawn dish soap once a week and have no problems with oily hair the since. I read that they use it to get rid of oil on animals from spills. So it's gentle and effective! I was with regular shampoo and conditioner the rest of the week.

It does work for oily hair but most people use a clarifying shampoo for build up removal, not necessarily oily hairy.
Dawn would wreck my dry, damaged hair beyond help. I use a clarifying shampoo to get product build up out, then I condition it heavily
