CLEAN THE SNOW OFF THE ROOF OF YOUR CAR!!!
had to go out this morning and can't tell you how many cars are out there with a pile of snow on the roof. It can be so dangerous. Such a simple thing to do to make sure those driving around you don't have to deal with a sheet of ice flying at them while they are driving.
And if you can't reach, get a snow brush with an extendable handle, get a step stool - whatever - just do it!

It’s so dangerous not only to other cars but yourself when you drive and the snow comes down on the front of your car.

I know I saw so many today. And so many with snow covering the front windshield!?!?!??! WTF. Don't be so f&cking lazy (and that is pure laziness)!!!! Every car is equipped with a defroster. No f'n excuse.

They've been trying to make this a law for over 10 years, but for some reason, it can't get passed.

THEREOF, WHETHER OF ANY OCCUPANT COMPARTMENT, TRAILER, OR OTHER CARGO

2. THE REMOVAL OF ACCUMULATED SNOW, SLEET, OR HAIL REQUIRED BY SUBDI-

My husband is a huge culprit of this. It gets me so mad. I always come out and have to clean it off both cars. It's scary to drive behind cars and have it fall right in front of you.

I’m short, too. About 5’ 3”. I get it done. But usually my car is so buried by that point and I just wait for the snow to disappear. That way I don’t have to dig myself out and just warm it up. To add, my car is almost 20 years old with very little mileage, I also fill up my gas tank about 4 times a year, so that gives you an idea how much I drive.

Sorry, but it's no excuse. Get a broom, a step stool, an extendable snow brush, whatever you need to get it done. Not to mention how many grown men I saw driving small cars (Civics. BMW 3 Series etc) today with a roof (and car) full of snow. It really infuriates me that people's laziness puts others in danger

ughh hate this too. this morning i gave DD an ikea stool and a broom thingy i bought at the dollar store. that little wipplesnapple was about to leave the driveway with this mountain on her cartop . i was like oh no you dont young lady.

I totally thought of this thread as I was driving on Sunrise Highway earlier. I saw huge sheets of snow flying off and hitting the road.

I am really short (5' on the dot)..and I completely clean off my car before driving. I have a snow brush that extends...if that's not around I would use a broom.
I was in a horrific accident where something flew off the car in front of me (not snow - a car part) on Sunrise Highway a few years ago....2 surgeries later including spinal fusion....I'm still amazed that people think its ok to drive with snow on their car or things improperly strapped down.
The person who was responsible for my accident had minimum insurance coverage too - it has been a nightmare.

On my way home today around 1pm some ***** on the expressway was drinking a large Starbucks in the left lane while an ice sheet that went flying off her car and almost hit the car behind her. I was in the hov lane next to her and honked a lot. She wouldn’t turn to look at me. She must’ve not heard me. Asshole.
Ya had time to stop for Starbucks but you couldn’t spend five minutes to clean off your car?!
Some other winner had snow all over the back windshield. And the back windows. Flyinnnnng in the left lane.
