Cleaning Ears
The vet gave me a solution to clean Kobie's ears but after I put the solution in he is not letting me near his ears to clean them out. Any tricks? He nips at me every time.

Re: Cleaning Ears
it's a two man job, but here's my suggestion: wrap him in a towel so he can't kick his legs or anything, and then hold his head against your shoulder while someone else cleans out his ears.....

Re: Cleaning Ears
Maybe try bribing her. When I cut Katie's nails I feed her Cherios and she is much more cooperative.

Re: Cleaning Ears
I do it in thre bathroom with the door closed and I give her treats--The minute she sees the bottle she is gone, hiding under the table. So sad :(

Re: Cleaning Ears
my dogs squirm a lot too when it comes to putting the solution in their ears. it takes one of us to hold them still and the other to put the stuff in. i also make sure to have a treat handy to reward them immediately afterwards.
